BEING OUT THERE -
Yesterday, while my father and I were driving on the New Jersey Turnpike to a party in Woodbridge, we came to a toll booth. My father asked the man which exit would he take to get there. The man responded with a voice I know very well ( a slow and monotone voice).
My father commented on how it was so great that they would give a job like that to someone like him, and how this man responded with no hesitation.
I told my father I think it is great, but that it takes something away to even comment about it. He agreed, and continued driving.
See guys, we are out there. We just need to increase our public presence. I told my father that this man must face extreme rudeness from a great many people he deals with, at least this has been my experience. Being out there is a process, we'll get there gradually.
